In the Moonlight

Here we are...
sitting by the side of the river
silently listening
our heart beating

Far out in the sky
the moon rises slowly
like emotions on our face
more visible as the night progresses


Under the cold moon
with a confusing mind
am I dreaming
am I breathing
questioning my heart
I found my child within


The wind like our will
strong in strength
brushes onto our skin
barely peeling
we sense deeply


The mix of warm and cool
like an intertwine energy
rambling in our body


We pretend to be OK
speaking little
feeling good at all times
just to part off peacefully
